Senior Living Community vs Senior Living Facility

At Experience Senior Living, we purposely use the term “Senior Living Community” instead of “Senior Living Facility” to accurately represent the warm, supportive, and inclusive environments we create for our residents. While the dictionary definition of a facility may refer to a place built for a specific purpose, such as a hospital, we believe that this term does not fully capture the essence of what we strive to create.

Senior Living Community: Focuses on Building Relationships

By definition, a community is a group of people with a common characteristic or interest in living together within a larger society. This term aligns more closely with our philosophy at Experience Senior Living as we aim to foster a sense of belonging and togetherness among our residents, encouraging meaningful connections and promoting a vibrant social life. Our communities are designed to be welcoming, engaging, and nurturing environments where residents can thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Creating A Unique Experience for Senior Living

Choosing the term “community” over “facility” reflects our commitment to creating more than just a physical space. We provide an experience unique to each of our residents through wellness, culinary and other offerings, but we go beyond that by encouraging a meaningful and supportive environment. We understand that aging adults and seniors seek more than just care; they desire a place they can call home, surrounded by peers who share similar experiences and interests

A Welcoming Space for Seniors to Enjoy & Engage with Friends

Using the term “community” emphasizes the welcoming nature of our senior living spaces, where residents join us at various stages of life. Whether individuals are looking to increase their social activities, reduce the stress points of their current living situation, or simply live their best lives, our senior living communities are designed to meet these needs. We strive to create an environment that supports residents throughout their journey, encouraging personal growth, and empowering them to live fulfilling lives
