Experience Independent Living

Our independent living communities are designed for active, older adults who want to spend more time living life and connecting with family and friends, and less time at home alone. We provide amenities, services, and experiences that enable you to live easier. How about a seven-course wine-pairing dinner with ten of your newest friends? Or a guided trip or cruise with all your favorite people? If you want to do it, we make sure you do.

The benefits of Independent Living

Connected lifestyle

You’re free to create the life you want, with friends new and old. We make it easier for you to meet new people and forge new friendships with those who have interests similar to yours. You can be the active social butterfly, the quiet bookworm, or anything in between, and we’ll introduce you to someone who is too.

Physical health and mental wellness

Independent living in a senior living community can also lead to improved health and well-being. Our communities provide access to resources that can promote physical health and mental wellness, such as fitness centers and classes, wellness programs, activities, and access to healthcare services. By staying active, older adults and seniors can improve their overall health and reduce their risk of chronic conditions.

Our team builds trust and connects with you, so as your needs change, we’ll be there to support you along the way. You won’t have to move to an entirely new community for assisted living or memory care, making adjustments a whole lot easier.  It’s all right here. You can lean on our expertise and feel good knowing you’ll always receive the highest-quality services and care.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

When considering a move to an independent living community, one of the main concerns is generally cost. However, independent living communities provide numerous benefits that make it a valuable investment in yourself compared to living alone and paying for services individually. Many independent living communities offer a variety of services, such as transportation, housekeeping, meals, and maintenance that can be expensive and time-consuming to obtain on your own.

At Experience Senior Living, we offer three main types of communities: independent living, assisted living, and memory care, as well as short-term respite care. While the main difference between independent living and assisted living is the level of care provided, every community offers unique features and amenities tailored to the needs and preferences of each resident.

The main differences between independent living and assisted living are the different levels of care and features in residential housing. Independent living homes are designed to provide older adults and seniors with a full kitchen, laundry machines, and more features you see in typical, everyday housing. This is because independent living residents are normally able to cook their own meals and take care of their daily needs without assistance. Assisted living apartments come with kitchenettes, as all meals are provided by our expert culinary team at each community. Most amenities and services are available to both independent living and assisted living residents.

Yes! One of the most common concerns that older adults and seniors have when moving to a community is whether their pets will be welcome. At Experience Senior Living, we’re proud to be pet-friendly and offer a range of amenities and services to cater to our furry friends. From dog walkers to pet grooming stations and pet therapy programs, we firmly believe that pets are a valuable part of our community. Experience Senior Living is proud to offer some of the most pet-friendly senior living communities around, welcoming pets of all sizes into our communities as we know they are an essential part of our family. According to a survey by the American Heart Association, 95% of pet owners rely on their furry friends for stress relief. Pets help with easing anxiety, keeping us active, and provide other mental and physical health benefits. If you have any questions on your pet or one of our communities, contact us today or call our team at 970-441-8100.
